I got inspiration and tried something new. shave was great. the finish was chilling, the gold bond was not only chilling, but my face feels like I've been to a spa or something. hope y'all did as well, or better.

Razor: Parker 99R Blade: Astra Platy Soap: TSD London Type w/ Lanolin Brush: Semogue Boar A/S: Witch hazel with M-bomb, Tea tree and blood orange oils Decent shave for a cloudy Monday morning. One small weaper on my neck. Second shave using a brush. I like the boar brush, It's not prickly at all, which from reading descriptions I was concerned about. Need to work on getting a serious lather, but TSD soap is pretty slick. Skin feels nice and fresh. I could stand to add a bit more M-bomb to the wh/tto/bo concoction.
8/31 SOTD at work I forgot my brush at home, what to do what to do. Hot shower 53 gillette ball end tech VDH cold tempered blade (2) Poraso green worked in like a face wash Av ice blue splash. Rubbing the poraso in lime a face wash produced a good slick layer, although it was not thick but a bit runny. Over all a very good two pass shave on shift with the boo boo bus.

Loaded a Feather blade, and checked the alignment. Whipped up some TH 10 in the OS Mug. Very nice two pass shave with some touchup on my trouble spot on my neck. No buffing today to give my face a rest. Warm water rinse and pat dry. Some WH and after cleanup some JB balm. Finished up with some Tommy Bahamas Martinique. It's Monday......Stand BACK....

Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO Razor: Muhle R41 Grande (2013), "The Hornet" straight razor Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (4) Brush: HJM Black Fibre Soap: Arko - Ice Mint After: Home made ASB, Osage Rub after shave Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme Intense It is Menthol Monday! The Arko was whipped up nicely into a thick lather by the HJM brush. The R41 Grande and "The Hornet" did their work well this morning. The Osage Rub and the Prada were a nice finish for this 2 pass Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!

With that crisis averted, I got 3 passes in, no weepers, nicks, irritation, or other injury, and DFS+ results. This left me feeling confident and smelling nice for the morning's class.
