  3. Got my 2 shavettes by Parker and Dovo. Do Feather Artist Club SS razors count too? Cause I'm thinking of buying one.

  4. Shavette are safety razors that use a single edge so yes they count!

  5. Go for it. I'm using my Feather SS on Saturdays this month.
  6. Cool SE razor.

  7. I'm late to the party, but I'm doing my September Focus on my three SE razors.

Left to right first to be used will be the Eversharp-Schick Model J - fairly mild, very light.

Second up will be the Eversharp-Schick Model G - a little more aggressive, a tiny bit heavier

Last will be my Star SE razor - completely different technique - I've got a lot to learn on this one. I've got carbon, PTFE and SS blades.

All I can say is that you guys, you enablers, you wolves in sheep's clothing have now given me SE RAD, or at lease Injector RAD.
Just when I thought I had things under control!

  9. My J2 provides incredible shaves as well. It's my go to razor for sure.

  11. Roderick,
Would you please describe the type of shave you experience with the type B? I have access to a type C if I want it and would be interested in some opinions. (And from anyone else for that matter.)
    :)
    Thanks,
    RT

  12. I made it through NBJ and then held off for 30 days of August and then SEptember comes along, the enablers come out of the woodwork and boom another RAD......I'm just glad I'm not the only one with the disorder.

  13. My shave today with the B2 was one of the best shaves I have had. 15th later and barely any stubble. No irritation at all. This razor will be at the top of my rotation. The nice thing is after SEptember comes OCtober and I can use it there as well.
  14. I will be using a Type B1 next week and will post a review.

  16. Whoa, I had missed this one. (My old age eyesight I suppose.)

Well, coming from one with such an impressive den of injectors I'd assume you'd advise me to go after the C?

That is, if its also safe to assume that the C will shave similar to the B2.

    Thanks!

I have several of these and I was going to spend September getting all of my blades honed up and shaving just so. Except for the one set that I have that is NOS.

  18. YOU WANT IT!!!!
This razor was sooo far ahead of it's time no one has caught up to it yet!
  19. Well with your expertise I can't see how I could pass it up! Will let you know when it gets here!
    Thanks Mr.B! :happy088:
