09/06/2015 Razor – Mongoose B2 with Jürgen Hempel Ti Blade – Feather Pro (2) Brush – Rubberset 400-4 with TGN HMW aka “Ocho” Lather – TSD Yin Yang Post - Witch Hazel and Fine L’Orange A big thank you to Mark @Boojum1 for letting me take Ocho out for it's maiden voyage. You can read about Ocho here http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/ocho-a-rubberset-400-restore.46886/ Ocho performed great whipping up enough lather for 5 passes. Luckily only 3 pass and a small touch up were needed for a BBS. Finished off with a splash of Fine L'Orange and I'm ready for the day.

SUNDAY Early Sunday morning shave using the vintage Brummel Werk 'Beau Brummel No. 44.' I recently touched this razor up on the hones yesterday which gave this razor a sticky, keen edge! Combined with the lovely XXX lather = Smoooooth! Have a blessed Sunday all!

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam Razor - Gillette NEW LC Blade - Personna Lab Blue (#3) Brush - Omega 20106 Soap - Arko / glycerine / mental crystals After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix Result - BeyondBBS I love the NEW LC but it's been difficult finding it's perfect match in a blade. So far it's only been a Perma-Sharp Super that's managed the feat. Now it's been followed by the Lab Blues. I've been getting amazing results so far with these but I've decided that they will definitely be in the permanent rotation. This is all the more impressive given it had five days growth to plough through. Mental crystals today again, the feeling's seriously addictive. Result is a face that feels like it's never had hair.
SHAVE OF THE DAY MENTHOL MONDAY! RAZOR: GILLETTE TECH/PROBAK BLADE: POL-SILVER (2ND USE) BRUSH: OMEGA S SYNTHETIC SOAP: TSD 2XICED FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH POST: F&C MUIR Had a wonderful shave this morning. I could have waited another day but im getting ready to go to the Detroit Tigers game so I wanted to be lookin nice. I don't think I have ever had a bad shave when using the TSD soaps. This was my second shave with Pol-Silver and these seem to be great blades. No irritation no nicks, 3 pass shave. F &C Muir is one of my favorite scents from them, but they are all good and feel wonderful post shave. Hope everyone has a great day and a great shave!!
Shave of the day Pre- Hot shower, Anna and Claras bath soap Sandalwood, Proraso eucalyptus and menthol pre/post shave cream Soap/cream- Proraso eucalyptus and menthol shaving soap Brush- Proraso omega boar Razor- WEBER polished head stainless steel Blade- Gillette silver blue Post- Cold water rinse, Humphreys witch hazel, Proraso eucalyptus and menthol aftershave lotion&Balm and Nivea original aftershave balm A few first time uses today. I wanted to celebrate my haul in Italy with a full Proraso green shave. Pre/post is new, the Proraso brush is new, the Proraso balm is new and also… WITCH HAZEL! I have wanted to try WH in my post shave routine for a loooong time and I finally have a bottle. It feels nice on the face, we’ll see if my skin improves with time. The shave was awesome, I had a few days of growth so I just did 2 WTG passes for a irritation free, smooth and darn fine shave =) The weber is awesome! but there GSB blades is a liiiiittle different from the others I had. maybe this tuck is bad? oh well! So damn happy with the BRUSH! It will be a new favorite, I'm sure!
T&H PSO T&H Lavender Cream Savile Row 3184 OCMM/GEM SS (4) AOS After Shave Balm 2 pass XTG and ATG - need to work on my OCMM technique a bit. Good shave but a couple of nicks and some tiny, tiny cuts that made themselves known with the cold water splash

Razor: Gillette Goodwill #162 1934 (4 corner positioning posts) Brush: Jerusalem Olive Wood/WD Silvertip 24/48 Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream: The Body Shop Maca Root cream Blade: Feather (2) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice Lime original Shulton cologne Frosted Glass 1960s Loaded the Feather blade into the Goodwill and checked the alignment. It still looks strange with the studs showing through the top cap, but the Feather was aligned perfectly. I whipped up the Meca Root with the Silvertip in my favorite mug. First pass WTG very nice glide with no pressure with this light razor. Second pass XTG on my face and then ATG on my neck. The Meca Root was nice and slick and helped get a great shave. A little touchup on my neck, and done. Great razor! Very smooth. The WH felt good and then some JB. And then my favorite Cologne Vintage OS Lime. Y'al have a good one.
