My last two days with the Old Type were great. Both near BBS after 2 pass & minor touch up. Face lather with the C.O. Bigelow and the VDH boar brush worked well. Not as luxurious as with the scuttle and the badger, but sufficient. Had to add some additional cream to my face between passes, but all turned out well. Boy, the Old Type is amazing. Love it with the Astra SP. Went a little slow and enjoyed every minute of it. No irritation at all.

Cleanup with the Red Tip, which doesn't feel very aggressive after using the Valet. The pleasant smell of Coconut from TSD soap followed by the same with TSD A/S Coconut aftershave.
It was part of a set that my wife purchased for me at Nancy Boy in San Fransisco. I like it a lot because I own the razor on it.

Thanks my friend. I've been to that website. That's where I figured out that my J is shortened. The J doesn't look like it opens. The G has the spring that sets into a catch that looks like it could open. I have a G8.
SEptember Focus - SE Razors This Monday means a change of razors. I've used the Schick Model J for a week and found it very mild. I finally this morning got a decent shave out of it. We all have seen our Focus Group Coordinator Chris aka @Bama Samurai SOTD's where he uses the La Toja shave stick, Chris has great reviews about this product. I have a stick somewhere? But I'm not willing to rip my den apart for it. So I ordered a tube of La Toja shaving cream for sensitive skin that I'll be using later this week. I haven't been this excited about a product since I ordered the Mongoose.

It seems to me there may be of point confusion here. There are no issues whatsoever using a twin blade injector in an injector focus. However, it might not fit the spirit of the exercise of SEptember. SEptember is a forum activity started by @GDCarrington on his thread that is coincidentally appearing on the 30 Day because many of the guys have selected focus criteria that conforms to SEptember. I personally feel that people should find a way to participate in as many forum activities as they so desire, and I am posting to GDC's thread as well as here. Maybe this helps? @cmorris357
