Here are the best ingredients for a frigid shave on a hot Wednesday morning: Neutrogena Men Facial Wash Large Horsehair Barbershop Super Speed/Derby day 3 Stirling Glacial Lemon Chill SS Stirling Glacial Wintergreen AS Balm Stirling Glacial Wintergreen WH Old Spice Cologne I just hopelessly-addicted to my Glacial stuff - and proud of it. The Lemon Chill soap is becoming like a staple for me almost every morning. Its scent is just wonderful, not to mention the rich, slick, creamy lather and the North Pole-like menthol freeze it gives, along with so much moisturizing and soothing. I cannot stop loving the Glacial Wintergreen balm and witch hazel for their intense menthol and gentleness when I use them. I've never seen any other aftershave products quite like them - my skin never felt or looked better. My shaves lately have been perfect!
Tyr's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Simpson 56 Best Badger Lather: Ginger's Garden Grapefruit Mint soap Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC Blade: Bolzano Superinox (2) Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (2, 3, 4) Post: Cold water splash, Dickinson's witch hazel, Myrsol Metilsol AS splash Cologne: Burberry Brit Late posting of an early AM shave. I didn't bloom the soap this AM; my only reason here was I simply forgot to do so before I got in the shower. As a result, the lather was a mite drier than I generally get it, but perfectly serviceable. 3 full passes without any bloodshed or irritation, just a hint of cooling from the mint and the menthol in the Metilsol, and nearly BBS results with great post-shave feel.
I feel better today. still feel like I can't get enough air coming up the stairs or a hill. the bike ride to work tonight isn't going to be fun but I'm breathing alright compared to yesterday.

My Wednesday shave today: Musgo Real pre-shave oil Jack Black shave cream Nightdivers 24mm Woody w. synthetic fibre Feather hardware Alum Tüff sensitiv after shave Very enjoyable shave. Am getting better with Jack's shave cream, it seems to require a wee more water than other creams I have used but produces an oh so slick lather..
