Thank you and everyone for your kind words and wishes. We've had the go ahead from the hospital today, to continue with our holiday plans. Nothing spectacular. But we had booked a week in a lodge on the Isle of Wight. Leaving home on 17 of this month. Early morning walks on the beach and around the harbour, and introduce the little 'ens to the joys of rock pool fishing. I can't wait. And of course a sly peek around for any artisan type soaps and stuff.
Just saw on the news that there is a recall on a kitchen faucet due to a fire hazard. Is it just me or is this high tech movement getting out of hand?
I went for physical therapy earlier this morning, (I go twice a week). I did not go last week at all. The physical therapist changed the way they did the therapy. Felt great, my hands and neck and lower back and middle back, were sore but not in extreme pain or distress. Today the humidity really sucks but my hands are both numb but not so bad that I can not pick up anything. So maybe, this is going to work out better.
Back from trivia night. Only myself and two ladies from our usual lineup but we still managed to take down eight other teams of 6 to 8 players each.
Oh come now! Tell the truth. It was a rousing night of bingo with the old church ladies and you were home by 8pm.
A little nerve-wracking and distracting day today... The Limecat had a scheduled tonsillectomy (everything went well) and my godson (6 yrs old) had an emergency appendectomy (also went well). Both should be home by tomorrow evening.
Yes. Interestingly, their first names also both begin with "S." So, actually double coincidence, I guess. It could also be that I didn'thave my reading glasses on at the time. Karaoke should be listed as a health hazard. And not just for noise pollution.
