The Schick F is a truly efficient razor and the Soap Exchange Barber Shoppe provided good slickness. Great shave.

    SATURDAY
Day 4 of 7-day Test Drive
By the fourth consecutive shave, I believe I'm hitting my stride with this razor! Sure, I'm still careful with the deadly-sharp point, but navigating this large razor is beginning to feel 'normal' as I've grown acclimated to the sheer size of it. I even pushed it a bit further than the normal three passes in order to hit the true BBS territory. I achieved it—but at some cost. What became apparent is why I don't normal 'chase the baby' when I shave. I do have sensitive skin and repeated passes tend to lean to inflammation. No real inflammation resulted, but I do have some smooth but tender spots now that revealed themselves when I applied the Snake Bite aftershave.
    :shocked003:
Still, though, this razor is incredibly enjoyable to use and I'm glad I 'pushed it' a bit further this morning.
    Have a blessed Saturday, all!

I started out with my Feather AC SS for the first pass. I'm getting this thing figured out. I got a nice pass with no irritation that I would call CCS. I did a cleanup pass with my Ever Ready 1912 for a DFS.

This shave is in anticipation of a decant of Terre d'Hermes that is supposed to be delivered today. I really like the scent of this soap and balm, and I'm hoping it will be a match with Td'H so I can extend the scent all day.
The shave itself was excellent as usual with CRSW. I am certainly getting more of his products, just top shelf in every way.

    Shavemac two-band silvertip brush
    TSD unscented soap and glycerin
    Two passes plus touch-ups
Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Trumper's Coral Skin Food

I've been scarce around these parts the last few days, but I have enjoyed some great shaves with the Mongoose. Today was my first shave using TSD soap, and it will definitely stay in the rotation. A big thanks to JoAnna Queen of Blades for her terrific soap. :happy088: I have a new Feather Super Pro blade (correctly :p) loaded and ready for tomorrow's shave.

    Enjoy your Saturday!

Started out with my G8... Umm, not good. Not good at all...I'm blaming the blade. Did one cheek and switched to the Red Tip. As aggressive as the RT is for me usually, this was the most comfortable, smooth shave ever from the RT for me. Like butter. I have some injector blades on order from EMS so I'll wait till they get here then revisit the Schicks.

The WSP Barbershop soap is very nice! Easy lather.

Today was definitely a Nivea Sensitive Cooling Post Shave day. What started out scary, ended up not bad at all.

    Razor: Schick Hydro One
    Blade: Schick (china) (1)
    Brush: @oscar11 Marigold
    Soap: Tabac
    Post: Cold Water & Thayer's
    AS: Aqua Velva
    Cologne: Verdon

Inaugural shave with the razor, First downward pass I didn't think I was going to like it at all. Then came the upward and east/west passes, it is set up perfect for those. It became nimble in the hand and the rubber made for a secure grip. I ended with a flawless super comfy BBS+++. Incredible! Might have been a fluke but this is the best shave I've had in a while.

hot water wash with nuetrogena men's invigorating face wash and a washcloth
    Parker pure badger
    soap commander endurance
    Gillette tuckaway(30)
    Ladas(1)
    old spice after shave
today's shave was very nice. the Parker's big knot and heavy handle feels super luxurious. soap commander takes charge.
New to me razor today. the Gillette tuckaway. very nice shave. the razor seemed a bit milder than the new standard. the handle felt a bit short at first, but the added agility grew on me fast. three passes left me exceptionally smooth and comfy.
those looking for a medium aggressive razor in a classy little travel package, the Gillette tuckaway is definitely a winner.
finished my shave with old spice after shave.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

    image.jpg Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3)
Brush: Rubberset 400 #3 WD 24/50 Silvertip (Jedi Lightsaber)
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
Cream: Geo. F. Trumper's Coconut cream
    Blade: Feather (1)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1973 glass cologne Stopper #3
Put some Trumper's Coconut into my favorite OS mug. My Jedi Lightsaber with its nice backbone whipped up some nice warm lather. The soft brush felt good on my face and I really like the way the handle feels in my hand. My FB is still my favorite razor and as usual, made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG on 3 and done. I had enough lather left over for another pass. The WH felt good, nice and cool. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Vintage Old Spice from 1973. Have a good one y'all!
