I finished off my week with the Schick L, the same model I began shaving with in the mid 60s. Tomorrow, I will be switching back to my Sunday shaver, the Gillette President. Then for the last week of SEptember I will be using my Schick M2 Adjustable.

I switched to the Gem Push Button today. All I have to say about this razor is that it shaves like the last razor. I think I have the SE Gem blades figured out. I am getting very nice two pass shaves. It took the first week of this focus to figure out angles and pressure. I haven't had any irritation or weepers since. I can say that these will stay in the rotation. I have one more razor in the lineup for later in the week (Gem 1924). If I can keep my focus SOTD Gem push button Gem Stainless (1) Arko AOS Badger Glacial AS Splash Have a great weekend!

This morning I decided to use my Star SE razor (courtesy of @Omaney) and I was a bit apprehensive. I had used this razor with carbon blades and with CVS store blades and I had OK, but lacking shaves. Those blades tugged, scratched and pulled uncomfortably. Today I used a GEM PTFE blade. I carefully watched the angle and took slow, considered strokes. To my surprise, the blade just mowed down my 2-day stubble with ease, with no tugging or pulling or scratching! I did a 3-pass shave (XTG, XTG, ATG) and finished up with what I'm calling a nice DFS. I am very happy with the result and am looking forward to tomorrow morning.
Nice one Sir...Those Gem Stainless blades are excellent blades once you get over the thing that they look like a window scraper blade... Billy
