I picked up 3 butterscotch handles a few weeks ago. The knots were mostly already removed. I just needed tof do some additional cleanup and decide what knot I wanted. I think the results came out pretty good. There was a 4th wooden handle included in the lot. That is still a work in progress. It needed a bit more attention.

The 4th handle in the lot was a wooden handle that looked really rough. When I started. My original thought was to clean up the handle, set a knot and sell the brush. After a little sanding, buffing with a felt wheel on the Dremel and 3 coats of Minwax Polycrylic - I'm questioning if I want to get rid of the brush or try it out for a few months.
The handle on the left was the main reason I purchased the lot. I really liked the handle style. I used the one on the left to lather up some MWF this morning and is really tore into the puck and whipped up a really nice thick lather.
It didn't look that good when I started. I regret not taking a before picture. it was a weathered dull grayish color and rather rough.
