The Crazy Ivan in SEptember! September 22 Razor - Gillette '59 Super Speed Blade - (1) Brush - Vie Long 12601 The Pony Soap - TSD Lanolin Bay Rum Post - Cold Water, Alum, Nivea What's the best part of doing a Crazy Ivan focus? Why the ability to listen to the voices and change things up of course! Today should have been the start of the Schick M2 but Ivan wasn't in the mood, so it was a day to load up the '59 SS and a Sharp Star. The Sharp Star is a Russian blade from Moscow that really does a great job. One of my top three blades, well top 5 anyway. Smooth, effective and all around nice shave every time I've used it. Pairing the pony with TSD Lanolin was a great idea with a fantastic Bay Rum lather and lots of it. No issues with the shave, alum was quiet, the Nivea was a nice touch and off to work I went. Ivan says we can do the Schick tomorrow, unless of course he changes his mind again. Depends on how much Vodka he has tonight. Crazy Russian.
Osage Rub is great stuff. I have heard of people using it on a wash rag after doing yardwork, or working outside.

A fantastic shave with the Frozen Tundra soap - lots of menthol and great lather with plenty of skincare. The Lucky Tiger felt wonderfully-cold and soothing, not to mention the Rubby Dubby Doo. Off to the hospital soon for my procedure.
Last day's shave: Treet king super stainless blades Gillette open long comb DE razor (thanks to @Morman Bridge for this PIF) Palmolive men classic shave cream Rasasi cool splash (fine notes of citrus and wood) Omega syntex brush Unlike other DE razors, the long comb of this razor traps enough lather for me to repeat strokes 2-3 times on single section without causing any irritation.

Micallef (sample) The 41c with the Bolzano is not an ideal pairing, but it's not a bad one, either. The razor's relative mildness doesn't compliment the Bolzano as well as it does a sharper blade. That said, I had no injuries or irritation to report from this morning's 2 pass, DFS.
