Good evening all. Bought my first brush and soap on Friday! Was something I've been thinking about trying for some time but the deciding factor was when I saw hand made boar brushes from a local vendor on Facebook. Same guy I get my beard oil from. Was going to buy one but decided that I would try a cheaper brush and soap first. Picked up a $15 Omega brush and some Prorasa at the drug store and I think, after 2 shaves, it's safe to say I am hooked!!! Stumbled onto this forum by accident but thinking I might even try a DE razor after reading all about them here!!
Hi Welcome to the Shave Den. I'm glad you enjoy using a brush and soap. I think you'll really enjoy using a safety razor . Much more comfortable than a cartridge razor on my opinion. Any idea which DE razor you might get?
Welcome to The Shave Den! You made some fine choices with the Omega brush and Proraso shave cream! I hope you decide to try a DE razor. There are many friendly and helpful folks here to help you get started.

Thanks for the welcome! Think I will start with a Lord L6. According to the sticky in the Safety Razor forum, it's a good start. Plus, the low price point is nice for a frugal (cheap) guy such as myself!!!
