  9. CRSWednesday
I tried Astra SP in the Futur today and the shave was not as comfortable as with Voskhod. This could be because it hasn't been 24 hours since my last shave, so I dialed down to 4.5 and made just two passes. My face is not as smooth, but I'm not irritated.
The HIS made great lather from Jd'O, as always, and the balm was a nice closer.
    Prep: WSP Matterhorn PSO
Soap: Cold River Soap Works Jardin d'Orange
    Brush: HIS
    Razor: Merkur Futur
    Blade: Astra SP

  18. Pre de Provence Brushless (in the tube)
    Ladas blade
    Slim Adjustable
    3 passes

I decided to give the Pre de Provence brushless cream another chance today. The outcome was as I have experienced before. There seems to be adequate slickness as long as there is enough water. However, there seems to be little if any cushioning provided. Maybe this is only a psychological affect because there is no real lather, but it felt like I was about to make a terrible mistake on every stroke. Still, it came out an excellent shave without any mistakes, so I am happy. Would I buy it again? No.
  19. Am late to the thread this week. The one and only shave I have had so far was on Monday in order to go and see my boss and say my farewells (always pays to give a good final impression I say, unless something else is called for :)
The shave consisted of the following:
    - Calani Malabar shave soap
    - Mühle travel shave brush
    - Feather D2 with a Feather blade
    - Alum from Osma
    - Tüff sensitiv after shave

Although on vacation I am planning to shave tomorrow as well with a similar setup, just the software will change as I received a couple of samplers from Jabonman which I want to start using.

  20. Yup I couldn't agree more. Am in the same process right now, in fact in vacation in between the old and the new home and am going through hobby withdrawal symptoms ;)
