I wouldnt expect the axe to wind up on any bodies list. I'll have to order a cream sampler once I get some money coming my way, which unfortunately wont be for a while. I just signed up for a summer class at my college ($975) and an OAT course with caplin to get me ready for taking my optometry admission test (rediculously expensive). I cant believe they charge 300$ a credit at school but I guess thats life. For now, free stuff and trades will have to do.

We've sold a couple axe, but it's certainly not burning up the charts. There's not a thing wrong with trading. One man's trash is another mans favorite lime :)

Good stuff. I've only tried QED lime shave stick and HBS yuzu soap. QED is nice but I just can't seem to get a good lather or shave from the QED stuff. If you're interested, JayKay, I'll have my QED lime shave stick for sale as soon as my brother goes back to the states.

The HBS yuzu soap isn't lime (duh, haha) but very citrusy. I didn't find the scent particularly strong but they're nice soaps and easy to lather.

Lets start with WOOOOOHOOOOOOOO Coates! I appreciate your offer as I know this is a precious, hightly sought after, beat up your neighbors kids on christmas to get your hands on their furbie type product. So thank you for the offer Neale, its greatly appreciated, and I'll PM you my address.

019, how much are you looking for for the QED, or maybe you'll be interested in a trade. I've been hearing good things about it.

Haha, ones trash is another mans treasure. Michaels trash (a puck of kent) is one of my favorite soaps now!

I think tonight I'll be shaving with the Old Spice.

Thank you very much for the offer but Martin has packaged up a sample of the CF Lime for me and is sending it out. I will also do my best at picking up a QED lime stick asap. The list of limes is growing. CF and Coates have been added to the origional list due to some wonderful donations.

I gave the Old Spice Fresh Lime a try tonight. First off, the cream may sorta kinda have a tiny itty bit of lime in its scent. Most of it is what old spice likes to call "fresh". Their fresh is my garbage. The smell is bareable. I wouldnt go running around saying it smells great, or even good. Its old spice, which I've never been a fan of (their scents atleast, I like their red zone deoderent). The stuff lathered well in my plastic blue cone shaped (with a flat bottom) ice cream bown I picked up at the super market for 1$. It was a rich and creamy lather that was extremely easy to make. It went on my face and became even creamier with some quick swirling on my face. This stuff is slick!!!!!! And when I say slick, I mean it. My razor (fat boy on 3, 3rd shave on a sputnik) glided right through 2nd day stubble without any problems or hesitations. It gave a rather good shave but didnt provide much in the cushion category. Overall, this isnt too bad of a cream. I'm not a huge fan of the smell but the shave was pretty good. My face was a little more irritated than usual after the shave which I think is due to the lack of cushion. Overall, I'd give this stuff a 5/10. If it were between this and canned good, I'd use this. A decent performer.

I've used KMF Key Lime...very mild, but you do get a little scent. But I like Trumper's better. Interesting how lime is becoming a favored scent. Thanks for this stellar work, JayKay!

I anticipated this :o. It really seems we have exactly polar opposite taste in lime cream. I'm thinking you favor the "single note" style lime. Scent can really be a subjective thing can't it :)
I really like the TSD soaps, but the lime fragrance wasn't what I usually go for. On the other hand, trupmper, godrej, and old spice lime, are tops with me. Actually, the lime old spice aftershave is my favorite lime aftershave/cologne of all time, and i'm wearing it right now.

I prefer the trumper lime scent from their soap/cream, but it didn't translate very well into aftershave/cologne.

Wearing that stuff....as an after shave....:shocked003:scared001:sick007 Just kiddddddinggggg. kinda. sorta. maybe....maybe not...... No reall though. We do have the exact opposite tastes. I do prefer the single note lime fragrences rather then the hint of limes and "other stuff". Its actually funny because I'm sitting here sniffing a sample of GFT Lime cologne and I like it. Its just a nice single note lime scent unlike theyre cream. If theyre cream smelt more like that I would have a plethora of tubs. From the smell of the Vulfix cream I'll be using tomarrow I'm not sure if I'll be a big fan but I will give it a whirl and a reivew none the less. As for the KMF Lime, I used it, and it was okay. I think it may have been thrown out or given away because I havent seen it since I threw it in the back of my closet when I first start shaving. I dont like the KMF creams on their own and I think I used them once in a super lather but I dont lather soaps in bowls any more so that really isnt much of an option.

The TSD soaps are melt and pour, correct? I need to figure out something to melt my orange soap into. Maybe I'll pick up a few twist up containers and melt my orange soap into it. Its a very nice scent.

I enjoyed trumpers lime a bit more than t&h's although both are good.

Last night I received a sample of the CF Limes Oil shaving cream. After several tests by very well trained noses it was unanimous...it smells like Pine Sol. The scent was the same. After lathering the cream the scent was the same...Pine Sol.

I also received a sample of GFT Limes After shave. Now this smells fantastic. A definite favorite.

I shaved with the CF that Raf speaks of (this morning, not when he was here last night... just to clarify).

We lathered it up last night just to see if the scent lightens up or becomes a bit more natural, it doesn't at all. Stuff smells hardcore of Pine Sol to me.

Maybe I'm too used to the Limes that Trumpers produces, they're cologne and aftershave has the pure, fresh and crisp lime I would expect from a quality product. The soap is nice and subtle, very clean fragrance to it. The cream sucks, but I don't like any of their creams.

This CF stuff is awful. Performance wise it did ok, but nothing to write home about. DR Harris creams beat the crap of it any day of the week when it comes to performance. I know I'm a bit biased because I like more subtle scents in my creams and soaps. This stuff is way overscented for my taste and doesn't smell anything like what I think a natural lime oil should. No offense to those who like it, just not for me.
