Tabac

I agree— it is a top performing soap, but alas, the scent doesn't do it for me.

'Tabac'— possibly German for combining the scent of tobacco with ipecac......'tabac'....

 

I love the scent of the cream but prefer the properties of the soap. I uberlather them and get the best of both worlds.

 

It's not the best I've used but it ranks right up there. Thats why I've committed to using it exclusively for the month of tabactober

 

Just had a great shave with Tabac just yesterday with my new Gillette Slim. I heard someone (Mantic maybe) classify it as a sandalwood scent. Can anyone compare Tabac and Sandalwood?

 

Tabac shave soap doesn't smell like sandalwood. Maurer & Wirtz have a few colognes under the Tabac label and it's possible one of them does though

 

Today's shave, and it was smooth and comfortable.

I really like tabac but haven't tried any of the pinaud after shaves yet. I'm hoping to get some more space in my new bathroom so I can order a couple bottles

 

What is that razor? I'm curious. Could you post a better picture of it?

I have both cream and soap. They are both superb performers---I wouldn't want to bee without them, really think the scent is manly.
(I'm hooked on the Veg, what do I know!!!!)
