    VetsJetsnGuns Need love... will pay.

(the Movie) Good story, but it's a musical. I hate musicals. There should have been a warning label. I was aware the original was a play, but was it, too, a musical?

Furthermore, do all you str8 shavers sing to your razors and wear excessive eye makeup? I'll not mention forcing cannibalism on the unsuspecting....:D

I foundly remember my first musical. I was against it, wanted to spend the night at a pub instead... but I got talked into it and it totally blew my mind! Live musicals are just ACE! Wish I could see this!

I rented it and just saw the first 5 minutes or so...
probably won't bother to watch it....

I would NEVER SING to my razor!!!! I draw the line at that sort of activity!

Eye makeup...well it cuts down glare when I'm in the sun.....Different colors give me different personalities...well ya know....
    :)

JayKay 3000 posts and all I got was this lousy title

I dont like musicals, but for some reason I liked the movie. Great cinematography, interesting story, lots of blood. If it wasnt for the blood, death, and canabalism, I wouldnt have actually watched it.

I totally hate musicals...a female co-worker listens to the soundtracks of Grease and Cats and all that crap and it makes no sense...that said

The story in Sweeney Todd made up for the fact that all these people are singing to each other. The cannibalism twist was great and quite humorous.

there is another version made in 2006 for the BBC. Not a musical, all the blood and gore and canabalism and no singing. I found it on isohunt.
Great movie, and I believe the film footage is actual shaving!!!!!!!

sweeny todd also has a deeper character. He is troubled by his behaviour. Where the musical was a bit singleminded.
