It was a very good shave, despite a couple small weepers caused by going too fast and pushing a blade to its fourth day. Jd'O provided excellent lather as usual, allowing der Futur to noisily get on with its business. I finished with PAA LGTT and Jd'O balm. My face feels great, and I added a shot of Spicebomb for a pleasing scent all day.

I had so much fun shaving this morning. The MITA soap with its delightful citrusy scent lathered like a maniac for me and gave me its strong menthol effect. The Lucky Tiger a/s cream added to the chilly fun, and the Frostbite aftershave jolted my face with a great freeze of its own. That stuff also smells awesome!

today's shave was nice. I thought long trying to match chai tea with an after that would complement. the Gillette is silver plate, marked 25a, that's all I can make out for serial number. and the tail piece isn't like one I've seen with this razor. so it's exact model,year, id, still a mystery. I made three passes for a nice shave. finished with iced bay rum.
hope y'all did as well, or better.

 

I still have some of my Gillette AS gel left. It's been around a loooooong time.

RR Freedberg today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11Badger. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Silver Blue in the Slim. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with Fine Platinum.

What a smooth shaver the Gem Junior is! Hardly knew there was a blade in the razor, very comfortable and effective. I'm ready world, bring it on.

The fraternal twin to my birth year I1 came in the mail yesterday - a black handled, silver head I1. I slipped a NOS Twin Blade into it this morning and away we went. Very, very nice. There wasn't much to work with coming off of a super close shave from yesterday's shave with an E3 but the I1 found it all. Despite being a new blade there was nary a weeper, much less any nicks or cuts. Very well behaved. The field at the top is getting crowded...

Soap: DR Harris - Windsor
After: Home made ASB, Nivea after shave balm
Cologne: Midnight In Paris

Brrrr, it is getting colder outside. The #6 brush whipped up the Windsor into a nice lather this morning. The FaTip and the Fily worked their magic on the stubble. The Nivea ASB and the MIP was great finish for this better than Darn Fine Shave.
