My face feels so frozen after this wonderful BBS shave with my Krampert's Frostbite soap. This stuff gives tons of awesome lather, and its menthol effect is STRONG. That Lucky Tiger a/s cream and the Frostbite aftershave splash turned cold into bone-chillingly-cold!
today's shave hot water wash with nuetrogena men's invigorating face wash and a washcloth @Jayaruh #7/ whipped dog silvertip soap commander endurance(m) open comb? rapira(3) old spice after shave today's shave was nice. old#7 did great, here's hoping it's maker does great today as well. soap commander has been modified as per @GDCarrington's instruction. today's open comb is unbranded. while it preformed nicely, I'm not able to share it's details with my forum friends.( bugs me). only to say that three passes left me with a nice shave. finished with yard sale old spice.( insert whistle here) Hope y'all did as well, or better.

Thor's Day: Prep: Hot shower, Healthy Accents Daily Renewal Cleanser, TSD Jasmine Sambac preshave balm Brush: Beeline Boar Lather: Speick cream Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC Blade: Bolzano Superinox (5) Passes: WTG, XTG (9, 10) Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's witch hazel, Speick AS splash Cologne: Gigember Estragone by Dr. Vranjes The big advantage to skipping yesterday's shave was that the Speick lather, which was excellent as always, could really work to stand the hair on end, making it easier for the blade to mow them down. The complication, of course, was that the blade is starting to age, so there was some tugging. DFS+ results out of two passes, and the alum was entirely without sting.
30 day focus - Day 15 Fat Boy set to 9 Sputnik Blade MDC Face Lathered 3 passes I set the Fat Boy to 9 in order to see if there was any difference between 8 and 9. While there seemed to be little or no difference between settings of 7 and 8, there is for me a large difference between 8 and 9. I had a very close shave, but produced two weepers. this is either because the blade gap is too large or more probably because my technique is still a little off. I will keep it at 9 for few days and see what I come up with.
Neither, I just love a great shave. The Agua Lavanda arrived from Spain yesterday and is indeed top shelf. I have been searching in vain for a lavender AS that satisfies and, "by George", I have found it. I plan on pairing it soon with MW Jeff's Lavender as well. Have a good day David.

Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shambala One of my favorite shaves in awhile, Klar Kabinett is always nice to use, and I love F&C Shambala. The SC101 is a very consistent. I like that.
