I got this shaving soap as a gift from my wife. At first I was not too impressed, however, it certainly has grown on me since using it. It lathers very well especially if you use a larger bowl rather than a small cup. I found it very easy to shave with and the smell was just fantastic. Lingers on for quite a bit. What I especially love about this shaving soap is that it must contain some ingredient that really opens up the pores and the hair just sticks right out since I found I got an especially closer shave than other shaving soaps. No doubt this is a top-notch, high-quality product. I also use a face scrub (exfoliator) before shaving and my does it ever help me get a better shave.

    Good Soap

This is good soap. The smell is great and it lasts throughout the shave. I love the wood bowl that comes with it. The lather is lubricating. I would buy it again.

    Nomad is my go-to Soap

Like many others, I have quiote a collection of soaps and creams. I really enjoy the challenge of which one to use in the morning. 8 of 10 times I reach for the CE Nomad. It lathers wonderfully with eitehr my Shavemac Silver Tip, Omega 49. I have a new Vulfix 404 that I'll try tomorrow. I lather on face and the CE soaps (both Nomad and Sandalwood) are just great for that and at the end of three passes there is still tons of lather in the middle of the brush. I have the Sienna and when I finsih this puck of Nomad, I'll try that one. The puck is maybe 6 months old and has bout 40% left in it. Great value for $8!:D
