Since we went to the field it's been crazy. 3 staff duty shifts in a month. It's not so bad though. I'm a night owl. And last night I ended up with a debilitating migraine and fell asleep at 7:30 and slept for 12 hours. So I should be fine.

Another great shave with this combo - not a Grand Slam but at least a double with the bases loaded to tie the game!



World Series Game 3

Some great baseball teams have rallied back from trailing 2 - 0 in the WS to eventually win the Series. In fact, it’s only happened 11 times, and coincidently, two of those 11 teams are playing in this WS and did it in back-to-back years (KC - 1985; NYM - 1986).

No team has come back from a 3 - 0 game deficit.

Thanks! Key brand overalls are super common in My town. It's a ranching, farming, and oilfield community a little bit NE of Denver, CO. People ride horses down the street, and old men still sit and smoke pipes on the courthouse steps.

 

Here's to the NYMets and their date with destiny! Sometimes a well hit double is all it takes!

 

Sounds like my kind of town. The way of life out here is too high strung for me.

 

My last blade of the focus.

This blade gave me a very nice shave. The only comment I have is that it isn't as smooth as some of the others. I would use this blade without complaint, but would probably not keep it in a permanent rotation.

I like it very much. It's definitely a small town, and if I want big-city stuff, Denver is a a half-hour drive away. I am going out with Mrs Samurai to Denver tonight to see the NBA, Nuggets versus T-Wolves. It's one of my fave things!

 

That's how I felt about Shark also. Not great, not bad, not staying around either...

 

Looking for some help guys. I'm having a hard time finding a good soap. The only one I've found I'm happy with is TSD sensitive. (Haven't gotten to try any of the scents yet). But I'm looking for a nice, luxurious, great smelling soap. Any reccomendations?

 

I think tomorrow night you should just walk around town and point at people.

 

What have you tried so far? Strop Shoppe Baker Street performs fantastic and smells even better. What sort of scents do you like?

 

Proraso, Col. Conk, Classic Brand, TSD. That's the only soaps I've gotten to try. I've tried some creams, but I think they are a little thick for what I like.

Also, I think I'll like a woodsy scent. Maybe a little pine. I've also tried Stirling.

 

Did you like the Stirling? They have some pretty good woodsy scents. They just happen to be my favorite soap.

 

I wasn't crazy about it. I haven't been very impressed with any glycerin soaps. The only one I loved so far was TSD lanolin

 

I have been really happy with the performance of the TSD non-Lanolin, but haven't tried the Lanolin. Scents are hard to recomend. I also like the Maggard's artisan soaps for performance. My favorite soap based on performance is Jabonman, which is a small artisan soap maker in Spain who doesn't have a website.

 

Stirling is tallow based. In fact, their Scots Pine is sheep's tallow based with woodsy scent. I have used a sample of it, and it is nice. You can smell the sheep's tallow, though. Their soap needs lots of water, but I find them to be the best lathering soaps I have.

 

The TSD Lanolin soaps are great, too, BTW. I definitely enjoy those. The Wheat Shaving Cream is also nice.
