    11/3/2015 Tobacco Tuesday!!

    Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
    Razor: Cobra Classic, Friodur Inox 70 1/2 straight razor
    Blade: Feather Professional (1)
    Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair
    Soap: RazoRock - Tobacco #1
    After: Home made ASB, Aqua Velva Musk after shave
    Cologne: Midnight In Paris

    It is Tobacco Tuesday! The Tobacco #1 was whipped into a nice lather by the Vie Long brush. The Cobra and the Friodur did a great job mowing down the stubble. The AV and the Midnight In Paris were a nice finish for this Darn Fine Shave +.

    I came back to the Executive today. The sweet spot is getting easier to find and keep and the shave continues to improve. Very nice, very smooth, and very close shave today with just slightly more touch up than usual. :happy036:

    Shave 2 of my 30 day straight challenge. I didn't shave yesterday, and it worked out better because my growth is not very heavy. The hot towel prep has earned a spot in my permanent pre-shave routine, and soap commander performed great. I did get some minor irritation directly under my chin, but it should clear up soon. Overall, I'm really happy with the results, and I look forward to more great shaves.

    I don't know why I don't use this soap and brush more often. I find that Stirling Soap whips up much easier with a stiffer brush. This soap produces and outstanding slick lather.

    Nice and chilly stuff for my shave. The Ingram Blue cream, as I call it is from Egypt and as you can see it looks almost the same as the original UK version. It lathers better, has the same great scent, but it has stronger menthol cooling. That Lucky Tiger stuff is unreal - it's so cooling, refreshing, and soothing. I'm wild about the Alt Innsbruck - what a scent and does it ever freeze like a maniac. These Astras are excellent blades. They're sharp, smooth, as well as very forgiving. ;) :D

    Yep, me far right on the way to Hue up the Perfume River during Tet offensive 1968. Hell of a battle, my second tour.
    My son far left just before he shipped out to Afghanistan 2006. Fortunately we both came back, sort of. :)
