    I used the Striling Glacial on the third pass today. As usual, this was an extremely cold shave. Unfortunately, I always manage to cut myself when using a strong menthol and today was no exception. But, it does feel very refreshing.

    whipped dog silvertip deep set
    catie's bubbles mile high menthol
    Merkur futur(3.5)
    Ladas(1)
    ICED Aqua Velva ice blue
    today's shave was very nice. menthol Monday gave a very cool shave. I bowl lathered mhm. three passes with the futur, crazy smooth and extremely comfy. finished with iced ice blue.

    Method: traditional, using *only* the hot water in the antique shaving scuttle

    Soap: Arko stick re-shaped into a very small puck for the scuttle
    Mug: Antique shaving scuttle
    Razor: Gillette Super Adjustable on 1.5
    Blade: Astra Sharp
    After shave: Pearson & hendron
    Skin care: Top Care Skin Lotion This WalMart brand works very well.

    All this new stuff arrived Friday. I just HAD to try it Saturday.

    The shave was so smooth that I skipped Sunday. And Monday.

    Vintage shave with this old George Wostenholm & Son I•XL. Thick & slick, citrus & woodsy lather made from the Route66 'Sweeney Todd' resulted in a near-BBS experience.
