Sorry Steve, that photo was from some time before the handlebar. I'm still working it. I'm working on a theory to get the hairs closest to my nose, to a length out to the far end of the stache and then grow the bars out. I'm almost there. Now if I could only do something about that handle growing out of one of my ears!
Just a guess here...but based on the obvious, I think most of the kids would call him exactly what he told them to call him.

I played on a team sponsored by a local ice cream shop (Carvel). After the game we'd all go there and the owner would provide - a cone for a win, a sundae for the winning pitcher or home run, and a banana split if you did both. My team photo looked a lot like yours - I ate a ton of ice cream that year. We were undefeated!
I think I grew 3 inches and gained 20 pounds that summer, they almost didn't let me play in my age group because of my size. Which would have been more of a challenge, and I was up for it.
