Happy Veteran's Day The name of the soap says it all gents. I Respect the sacrifice of all who served. As a fellow veteran, I hope you all have a good one.
Wednesday First shave with the Arko Comfort cream. I was pleasantly surprised! Very very good cream with a fruity sweet smell. DFS+++
WEDNESDAY Late-morning shave today (Happy Veteran's day!); Another great shave using the citrusy 'Sweeney Todd' soap (excellent coverage and slickness); finished with a 'spicy' citrus AS, Musgo Real. Have a blessed day, all!

The MWF was whipped up nicely by the #6 brush. The Shake Sharp and the Friodur made short work of the stubble. The Grey Flannel ASB and the Grey Flannel EDT were a nice finish for this Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!
5/8 Grelot Lotus oxford & cambridge homemade boar it would be interesting to pick up a few more of these grelot lotus p.o.s. razors, really, you can trust me. truth be known, i'm pretty enamored with this blade, just a very nice shaving razor. IMO, about as good as it gets. Takes and holds it's edge wonderfully. Have a good one.
Had a great shave this morning. Used my new-old e-shave brush and really, really like the shape of this brush handle. The knot was as soft as any TGN silvertip and it was a real pleasure to use. Great stuff! The Blackbird seemed like a good razor to match this all with and it performed equally well. Nice, relaxing morning. It's 10am now and just finished the shave and a cup of coffee. Think I'll go clean a razor or two. Enjoy your day and remember all of those that made it possible for us to enjoy it any way that we want.
Veteran's Day Shave I added a picture of my Dad getting the Bronze Star. He was 101st Airborne, and dropped in from time to time all over Europe. Also added one of my Mom who just turned 90. That's her on the right with her best friend. Razor: Feather AS-D2 2015 Brush: Stirling Synthetic 26/63 2015 Mug: Van Der Hagen Cream: The Body Shop Maca Root cream Blade: Feather (4) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Nivea Men Post Shave Balm, Old Spice Lime original Shulton AS Frosted Glass 1960s Day 4 of shaving my Dads way, as I think of him with on Veterans Day. Bathroom has this great smell from the Maca Root cream sitting out in the mug. I may have to shave like this all the time. Just added a little hot water to the mug to get going as the Stirling is a bit of a hog with the soap. Whipped up some good lather and still haven't had to add product, which tells me I'm using way too much on a daily basis. Plenty of lather for a quick 2 pass shave. Finished with the WH, and then some Nivea. Rinsed the razor with the blade still in it, and hung it up to dry. I left the brush in the mug with the remaining cream and put it aside for tomorrow as my Mom said my Dad would do. The Feather blade on day 4 was still good, which is also a bit of surprise. Maybe my technique is better or it that I'm only doing 2 passes. It is still a little strange rewhipping the cream again, but all is good. Finish with some vintage Old Spice Lime AS from the 1960s, Dad favorite! Go shake a Veteran's hand today, and thank them for keeping us free!
So you like that Star DE? I used mine for the first time last week and found it to be a really nice shave. Very comfortable, yet efficient.
