Friday SOTD The Rise double-whammy, what more is there to say? I figured it was a little on the warm side for Clubman. I was surprised that the Sensor gave me a nice shave as it was on its last day.
Loved the Wolf Whiskers brush - an immediate favorite. I do however think that I am not really a Mach3-kinda-guy. They are too mild and clog up too much. The T&H handle was very nice though.

SOTD - FRIDAY-THE-THIRTEENTH! Day number two with my Schick Adjustable. Day one was a so-so shave on setting #4. Today, on setting #6, it was a wholly different story. Today's shave was my normal 3-pass shave. But this time there was no need for the extra clean-up pass I had to do yesterday. As with most injector and SE razors the feedback is loud and clear. I really enjoyed today because of the "scritch-scritch-swoosh" sound. The "swoosh" being the sound of a razor passing over skin where the stubble is gone! Tomorrow I'll probably move up another notch or two just to see what happens! Great BBS shave today! It's 4:30 and I've still got a very passable shave!
Hello Messieurs, this morning's shave : - Baume.be shave cream - The Big Shave LE 2014 brush - Chatellerault straight - Le Taillefer DE - Myrsol Agua Balsamica Very nice ! Have a good day gents !
Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam Razor - Gillette Rocket HD Blade - Treet Platinum Super Stainless (#2) and out) Brush - Omega 20106 Soap - Arko After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix Result - BBS Definitely a better result in a more aggressive razor. That said, the second shave's been enough to take the decision to bin it. In my second, more extensive blade trial, I believe I'm now starting to scrape the bottom of the blade barrel with regard to quality. The Shark and now the Treet, have left me with blotches that I haven't seen since I left the cartridges behind, nearly two years ago. I'll keep going with the trial, but on the proviso that if the cheaper blades don't improve, I'll finish it earlier than expected.

Saturday's Dove Men Face Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip Gillette Super Adjustable Astra Super Platinum CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva AS The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Adjustable razor and an Astra Super Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Fourteenth shave of No Variation NoVember.
Today was another great shave with the PAL. Used the Rooney silver tip brush for a change from the synthetic brushes I've been using. Big difference, holds less water so I had to fiddle a bit to get the lather working. Good start to the day!
The Fresh Old Spice Lime is a newer version of Old Spice Lime. I don't believe it has been made for some time. @ObiDon could chime in and give more accurate account of the lime background. I believe he is the resident Old Spice expert. IMO.

NOVember - NO Variation November 13 Razor - Feather SS AC Pain Stick Blade - (5) (Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat Post - Cold Water, Alum, Nivea Friday the 13th - 13 days on the Feather SS, the only thing missing is a black cat crossing my path. Wouldn't have mattered. The automatic nature of this process continues. The only issue today was a slight grab at the latest cut still healing near my ear but again no blood or damage, just that feel of a slight bump. I'm holding the angle well across the entire shave finishing DFS on two passes. The thought occurred to try and improve it with a third pass today but hey, why mess with success at this point. Maybe over the weekend I can take it another step further. For right now I'm just happy at how natural it's feeling and how enjoyable the shave has become. My only change up was to go back to Nivea for post shave. The alum is still out for an extra moisturizing at night but the Nivea felt good this morning. The alum is still a bit harsh at times, especially on some neck areas I'm buffing a bit to get the DFS, but Nivea took care of it and the irritation backed off nicely. So, almost a full 50% through the month and all's well. Still have all my fingers, my nose, ears, etc. For me it's becoming almost TOO boring. Hope your weekend is great!
