I've been enjoying wood handles lately and higher lofts, so.... a daVinci Uomo 299 Kebony wood handle brush. Should be here today.
We'll see. It's pretty different from anything that I have now. If you get a chance to look at the daVinci video showing how they make their brushes it's pretty cool. While looking for a photo I noticed that Amazon raised the price $23 today. Maybe because I bought one... (mods, is it okay to embed this video?)
Hello all, I'm awaiting a cased 40's Style Super Speed, and a head for a Pearl Open Comb. I was pretty surprised to have spotted the Pearl OC head a couple of weeks ago, I waited until last week, then I couldn't contain myself anymore. I finally ordered it. A fellow can't have too many OC heads can he? My pearl that I use on my SABI T-1 handle is a fantastic shaver. It's good to have a backup.
well it's been a productive afternoon for my online shopping. first I liked route 66 enough to re-up into I'm pretty stoked with the first one, can't wait to smell this one. next I rounded out my pinaud collection with vanilla and lime sec
pics of lime and finally 100 Astra sp's they have provided me several good shaves in a row. someone help,I think I'm becoming @swarden43 , GET OFF MY LAWN.....
'Bourbon Jungle' is refreshingly nice, as is 'The Perfect Gent'. The 'Sweeney Todd' (orange/woodsy) scent is one I'm currently enjoying.
Similar in 'citrusy' & 'woodsy' notes, I suppose, but quite distinct from each other—at least to THIS nose. A Perf Gent: ...with citrus notes of yuzu, bergamot and lemon; mid notes of peppercorn, ginger, jasmine and a hint of peppermint….oils of cedar, vetiver, labdanum, frankincense and patchouli. Sweeny Todd:... the aroma of delicious Sicilian blood oranges, with their signature spicy berry undertone, blended with a hint of fir, warmed on a rich woody base.
thanks, love the gent. actually had to look up yuzu. great scent I'm guessing by reading that Sweeny is leaning a bit more toward berry? I tried to go another way with my second choice.
More 'sweet orange' than 'berry' 'Bourbon Jungle' is more floral and spice to this user's nose. Pleasing scent.
Scored a Schick type A. I happened upon the listing right after it posted and was fortunate the seller accepted my offer without much hestitation. I have now completed the trifecta.
