Monday's Dove Men Face Wash Tabac Shaving Soap Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip Gillette Super Adjustable Astra Super Platinum CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva AS The Tabac Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #27 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gillette Super Adjustable razor and an Astra Super Platinum blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... Sixteenth shave of No Variation NoVember.
With the BBS shave I got with my Hoffritz Slant on Sunday, Monday is going to be an off day.......................

I barely escaped having a COLD WATER SHAVE this morning, as the building lost its hot water for a period of time this morning. At least I got my shower and shave in in time.

SoTD Razor: WSC Faux Ebony Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel (2) Brush: Omega Pro 20102 Lather: The Blades Grim: Smolder Post: Witch Hazel, Lucky Tiger and Stirling Executive Man AS balm Great shave today! The soap and blade are both new to me, but worked fairly well. The soap I have been experimenting with to get the lather just right; I wouldn't put it in my top 5 (or maybe even 10), but it's a decent soap. It does smell great though! The blade also performed well, but not the best. They seem to have a little more "drag" to them than Voskhods or Rapira Stainless. But it was only the second shave with the blade, so some more trial is due for it. Overall though, not a bad shave at all. =)

Menthol Monday A pleasingly cool shave this morning. Krampert's Frostbite soap is a winner. Great lather and skin care without freezing my face too much. PAA provided bookends this morning with Ice pre shave and Lime Ginger Tea Tree AS. Der Futur was smooth and efficient - I pushed this Voskhod to four shaved, thinking that since I was only shaving my neck that it should last longer. I'll go with a new blade tomorrow.
Good Morning everyone! Here's a look at today's SOTD; 1952 Gillette Black Tip Super Speed,(my father's razor) 1956 Gillette Blue Blade. Kent BLK2 badger hair brush. King Louis Lavender shaving soap. King Louis Lavender AS Splash. 360 Red cologne. Today's shave went off without a hitch. A DFS in my usual two passes, with minor touch up and that was all it took as you can see in the photo, dad was watching over me to make sure I did it right. RIP Dad. Have a great day!
