How is an alcoholic Aftershave moisturizing?

You say balms make your skin feel greasy-how would they make your skin feel if you had a super-moisturizing shave cream/foam with a balm?

 

The thing with any shaving creams and soaps is that you rinse your skin clear of them once the shave is done. So I don't get any lasting effects from them.

 

Personally, I found that certain soaps and creams would dry out my face, so avoiding those was the priority. Now of course some aftershave have ingredients that help moisturizing rather than just alcohol, so I tend to go with those and I haven't looked back at balms, even during the dry winter.
