  8. Yes they are. My better half has put the kibosh on my purchasing any more goodies until after the holidays. I am afraid there will not be any left for me to hoard
I will need to find in the wild. Next year i will be going on some repeating safaris.

  9. @Darkbulb
Well we have some numbers starting with the letter 'J' now.....
Does that kill the idea of the letter being the year? What do you thing?

Ohh I just saw one on the internet, that belongs to a friend with the number A52, its a C1
I'll let you file it...I didn't know how you'll want to file numbers from razors that don't belong to members...

I saw another at B&B that had was a C2 with a number begining with H and I couldn't make out the rest the number....

  10. Good question...it does seem increasingly unlikely that it's a year-ID.
Hm.... there has to be some logic to it...the question is what is is....

(Added the C1 one. Thanks :))

  11. Its looking like these are some sort of Batch numbers or production line numbers...Waits does say in his Safety Razor Compendium that there is no Model related numbers or Manufacturing Dates on these early Models...:)

  14. If you are so inclined your spare parts could also serve as a test bed for what works best for cleaning gold plate - e.g. what's effective and what isn't; what's safe and what isn't. :signs002:

  15. I received my "membership card" in the mail today from @twhite @Redfisher and @Hodge

I plan to give the razor its maiden voyage tonight, I believe my roommate plans to also. I can't wait! Now I just have to pick a soap or cream!

I will also see if I can't get a good picture

  17. Those cases are little works of art also! The razor is much smaller than I thought too.

  18. I thought they would be bigger too. The weight really threw me I didn't expect them to be so hefty.

  19. I agree. Definitely pack a little punch for their size!
