  3. This. The brush was interesting and the rest was just there.

A woman's toiletry kit comprised of a powder box, pumice stone for the feet, shaving brush, and soap box. At least I think it is a soap box, perhaps the bristles go through the hole and the handle rests on top, opposite what the second picture shows.

The brush is an Ever Ready "Badger-lon", on the base it clarifies this as Badger and Nylon, model 500BN. Nylon dates it to 1940-onwards. The boxes are "ivory pyralin", an older name for cellulose.

  4. Picked up these three brushes for $7.
I like the early Rubberset one on the middle but I rather curious about the wooden one to the left that appears to have a metal mid-section.

  14. I can sympathize. Sure looks like it was worth the wait.
  15. A $5 BIN.......Schick G8. This is the last G model and it came with a handle similar to what would be offered on their future I model.

  16. I don't come across many vintage George Wostenholm & Son 'Pipe' razors with round points so I added this razor to the Wosty collection.
It is in need of some TLC (i.e. some blade clean up, rust and scratch removal) but I like a number of the features on this 11/16" blade: the thumb jimps, round point, blade engraving 'The Celebrated EXTRA Hollow Ground Pipe Razor,' and the bone scales. A small crack near the pivot pin will require some careful handling of the scales if a re-pin is necessary. For $30, its a pretty sweet deal.
