This was my setup from yesterday, but I didn't get a chance to post it up. It was interview day, so I needed an irritation free BBS shave. Lucky for me, this combination didn't disappoint.

Love the fresh citrusy scent of this 'Sweeney Todd' soap from Route 66! Smooth 'Friodur' shave, finished with a splash of home-made bay rum!

I like the stand. Where did you get it? How did the interview go?

Thanks. It is actually a Gillette / AOS stand that was part of a killer deal I found on the 5miles app. I got the AOS brush and stand for 5 bucks. I found the brush to be too floppy, so I pulled the knot and placed it into a vintage handle at a lower loft. The interview was much easier than I expected, I think it went well, and I should have confirmation soon.

I've really enjoy using my vintage razors, but decided I need to use one of my "new" razors for a change. I forgot just how smooth a shaver the Merkur 34C is. Easy two+ passes resulting in a beautiful DFS.

This turned out to be a pretty good shave, 2 pass, not quite BBS but pretty happy with the results. The LPL whipped up a much nicer lather than it did last time. The performance and scent is great IMO. The Treet classic has turned out to be a pretty decent blade. I was unsure because some of the Treets don't agree with me at all. Finished off with Stetson A/S which has a light scent and light menthol but feels great on the skin. Hope everyone has a great shave and a great day!
