Well, if you're into homemade after shaves, here's a copy of mine. You can substitute the water and pure alcohol with vodka for a more pleasant alcohol scent and milder skin contact. The staying power of the tea tree scent is around 15 minutes, then it's almost gone. I use it for a scent-less after shave. I love it!
    • 25ml 2-propanol pure alcohol >99%

    • 25ml distilled pure witch hazel

    • 25ml distilled/demineralised/deionized water

    • 2,5ml / ½ tsp pure glycerin

    • 2,5ml / ½ tsp pure Aloe Vera gel

    • 2,5ml / ½ tsp vitamin E

    • 2,5ml / ½ tsp castor oil

    • 16 drops of Tea Tree EO

This looks like a great recipe...I will definitely give this a try....though I have to admit I prefer roses or lavender as opposed to tea tree oil scent.;)

I have the tea tree in it for the properties, not the scent :) Although I do like the scent of it when splashed on. It works great with Proraso Green for instance.

I think I can safely add Pre de Provence ASB to my short list of acceptable ASBs...the scent will dissipate before I get to work...and even better...my wife likes the scent! Bonus!

A little Corn Huskers Lotion? It smells like a light powder, after it dries; & goes away quickly! (Well, I'm trying, here? :()

Stirling Soap makes both an unscented and an unscented with menthol after shave balm. I have not used these, but their other balms are magnificent! I also think I will give the homemade recipe posted by @tuxxdk a try!

Let me update my recipe. I have altered it a bit to be better all-round. The previous recipe has a bit too much propanol-smell to my likens and also there was too much oils in it.

    • 80ml Vodka ~40% alcohol
    • 15ml distilled pure witch hazel
    • 1,25ml / ¼ tsp pure glycerin
    • 1,25ml / ¼ tsp pure Aloe Vera gel
    • 1,25ml / ¼ tsp vitamin E
    • 1,25ml / ¼ tsp castor oil
    • 20 drops of Tea Tree EO
Lower oil amounts means it doesnt come out of solution as much and the liquid is far more clearer. I have exchanged the water and propanol-2 alcohol with regular vodka + added a bit more in total. Gone is the propanol-smell. I had menthol in the previous one - also in this one. Just the tip of a knife, I guess it's less than 1/4 of a tsp.

    tbsp is table spoon
    tsp is tea spoon

Derby City Chop Shop's small batch shave tonic might fall into the low scented category. It has a lovely lingering bay rum scent, but no projection whatsoever. The scent stays very close to the skin and usually fades to nothing in about a half hour. That being said, I do catch the odd whiff for time to time, even hours later.

Nivea sensitive post shave balm. Doesn't smell very much but it is a great balm.

On a contrary! It's quite potent.

The Sensitive version on the other hand is much more mellow in scent.

Nivea Sensitive balm or Nivea Cooling Balm. Neither of them have much of a scent but are both great performers.

    That's why scents are subjective.
