Razor: Gillette Milord w/case and blade pack
    Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (2)
Brush: Omega Professional Boar Red Handle 10049
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
    A/S Myrsol Blue
My idea of a BBS isn't just a close shave, but when all elements of the shave come together. Starting with an excellent brush to go with an outstanding shave soap, accompanied by a great razor and blade, with an amazing aftershave to finish. Tonight is a BBS for sure. The Milord with the Astra Platinum provided everything one would want in a razor blade combination. Bourbon Jungle catches your nose as soon as you open the container. It loves water, but once you know that prepare yourself for a Rich woody notes of Italian Bergamot, Apple Wood and Tonka Bean rounded by hints of Patchouli, Cedarwood, and Oakmoss, with exotic notes of Cardamom, Vanilla Bourbon and Allspice. The shave tonight was a BBS for sure. The finish with Myrsol Blue could not have been better.
That to me is how you get a BBS. IMHO. :)

It's a good razor and provides a excellent shave. A little more heft than a SS, which I like.

    Dove Men Face Wash
Semogue Lavender Shave Soap (first shave, piffed by @Redrock )
    Jayaruh #28 two-band finest badger
Edwin Jagger 86 Faux Ebony (first shave)
    Personna SS
    CWR, Asma Alum Block
    Thayers Cucumber WH
    Pinaud Clubman

The Semogue Lavender Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #28 two-band finest badger brush. Two passes with my Edwin Jagger 86 Razor and a Personna Super Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Cucumber WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    old school for sure.

    Things I learned today:
If you've used your Proguard blade 6-7 times or so in your Mongoose razor...don't just plop it into your King Cobra razor and take it for a spin...ouch.
Let's just say my lather was..pink/reddish today.

    Tomorrow: a fresh blade.

Really enjoying my $6 A/S though - this is good stuff.

I've seen that razor, nearly bid on it. my thought is, the fact that it only has one exhaust port( instead of two) makes me think that is of French design. maybe early leresche or a copy of their designs.
    happy birthday in advance.
only bummer about no-names, can't hardly share. I'm happy it worked for you, whoever made it.

yes, it's the most under rated razor. it's incredibly efficient, but so surprisingly mild. like no blade, but no stubble left. it'd be ideal for headshavers.
