May the Lord's gift to us all be real to you in this season. my shave today was facilitated mostly by my friend John. he traded me a most excellent razor in the aristocrat. it performed beautifully. he also blessed me with a sample of Cyril R Salter vetiver. man that's some different stuff. peculiar to say the least. very earthy. I finished it with Crusella vetiver. but I fear I may have over ICED it, so I added an overspray of violetas. most excellent shave for a most excellent day. hope y'all did as well, or better.

Fresh and clean The scent of Seville really popped for me today for some reason. It's nice and fresh, and I can see why some barbershops would use something similar. I did not use any prep today, just a warm shower, and I missed out. This shave was very good, but it could have been better. I'm sold on pre shaves now. I went with bay rum to wrap it up right.
