I know the feeling. Had a great meal and then Red Velvet cake. My family gave me a Fitbit. Maybe that was a hint.
To all my fellow 30 day participants, members of the cartel, fellow members and future members of the dark side.... Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! Dec 25 Shave 2.16 For a social engagement I had to shave twice yesterday with such a short time betweens last nights shave and this mornings shave it is very difficult to go for a BBS... but since it is Christmas I did not let that stop me. So I pulled out the Santa Maria Novella shaving cream, got out the big Woodhead scuttle and fired up the kettle. It was an interesting combination of the hot lather and menthol. SMN delivered as always. I pared it with my best shaving SR, PRC kamisori fresh off a pasted strop. With determination for that BBS I did 4 slow passes. It is hard to get BBS the day after a 2 shave day but I caught the baby. I as expecting allot of irritation with so many shaves but the alum test was just light stinging. Straights to the Finish Line! December 24 Short day at work today Did a quick one pass this morning and went to work, came home, sat around, ended up watching several episodes of Breaking Bad on Netflix. SWMBO has never seen it so we started it last night. She's hooked now. No plans for tomorrow except to be a bum and I'm just not motivated to gear up to shave tonight. So, it's a no-shave day for me. I'm confident enough in my work that I think the next three days will have me ready for Monday's first try with the Soviet. Hope everyone is having a great night and wishing you a fantastic December 25th! Счастливых праздников!! (Happy Holidays)
Well we're on Busch 3 now and no, the mall I work at is about 30 miles out from downtown. The current Busch sits on half of the footprint of the previous one, and now features Ballpark Village on the other half.
I keep trying to convince my daughter that Santa would really prefer boiled peanuts and beer, but once again it's cookies and milk.
When I was little, I told my Mom we should leave Santa a coke. I liked it way better than milk, and figured since he was an adult, he could drink Coke after dinner. She played along.
Next year... "how about cookies and milk for Santa, but we could get some peanuts and beer for the Reindeer?" You're welcome.
The funny thing is, my daughter will not drink milk in any way, shape or form except for yogurt. But she insists that Santa needs his milk for calcium. And since I've hammered it into both my kids heads about not drinking and driving, she refuses to be a party to contributing to the delinquency of an Elf.
