1. Christmas morning and my granddaughter gave me the box that I had previously received from my Secret Santa and now I can post pics and I did enjoy the Havana Cognac products with my morning shave with Brown Windsor up next for tomorrow's shave. Thanks again to my Secret Santa as they are some pretty darn good products you hit the nail right on the head with these choices.

Also including a pic of the other shave related items I got for Christmas minus the Corbell shave bowl which I had already put away and informed less than hour ago from my brother in law who spilled the beans on my gift from him as the package hasn't arrived yet but he sent me some Sartorial Shaving Cream and Sartorial Aftershave as my gift. Must say pretty good Christmas shave gear related for me two years in a row. The King Cobra and both elite razors I bought for myself for Christmas the Ginger Garden products, Mongoose and Hempel were gifts, Corbell silver or silver plated shave bowl (one heavy sucker) which is not pictured.

  3. As long as the dill essence remains restrained...pickled herring AS is never tacky!

I drink my coffee without stirring, it might be strong enough to dissolve a spoon.

    He waited until Xmas!

TSD sample soaps are great, they are really just a small puck.

Thank you Mike! This thread is always a great time! I appreciate what you do to make it happen!

A little late posting but I opened my secret Santa gift on Christmas Day. Santa treated me very well!!!!

A schick injector, blades, tsd aftershave milk , Cyril salter shaving cream, lucky tiger aftershave tonic and a year subscription to the tsd quarterly shave soap.

Needless to say I was and still am ecstatic. Thank you so much for the gifts Santa!!! I was so happy with my gifts I think my wife was a tad jealous
  7. A group of Secret Santas dropped a Gift Certificate in my mailbox... Thanks a bunch, guys! I will post the proceeds here when they arrive. You guys rock!

  10. Nice gifts everyone! :)
  11. Today a package arrived!

It contained (left to right & top to bottom):
    1. 250 ml Sapone da Barba Vegetale alla Mandorla by La Saponieria Artigiana (almond scent)
    2. 150 ml Figaro shaving cream (strong almond scent!)
    3. 150 ml Tcheon Fung Sing Italia Fern shaving soap (fresh scent)
    4. 150 ml Barbieri di Figaro Classico shaving soap (fresh, old fashioned scent)
    5. 100 gr Tcheon Fung Sing barbe rosse shaving soap (almond scent)
    6. 60 gr Haslinger Schafmilch shaving soap (with sheep milk & linseed oil; light soapy scent)
    7. 100 gr Raso Zero shaving soap (nice eucalyptus/gum tree scent)
    • All soaps (except the Haslinger Schafmilch from Austria - not Australia ;)) are very soft Italian made soaps / croaps. Like cold butter or putty.
    • All soaps (except the Haslinger Schafmilch and the Saponeria Artigiana) are made by Tcheon Fung Sing (TFS).
    • TFS is an Italian (!) soap company that statred after World War II in Turin. Mr. Tcheon lived in Italy since before the war and had married an Italian lady. After the war he started his company which still is a family enterprise, now led by his daughter and granddaughter.
    • The Haslinger Schafsmilch gets great reviews (very slick, lotsa lather) and it is made with sheep milk so I just have to try it!

But then... which to try tomorrow??? And the day after?? And the day after?? Etcetera...

I'll see if I can find two airtight jars for the Haslinger and the Saponeria Artigiana...

  15. I just read that TFS produces Razorock soaps as well, so that may give you an idea of the TFS quality. :)
