What's your feedback on the Blackland razor? I've been looking at them but haven't decided one way or the other as it maybe too mild to my liking such as the PILS.
Hello folks, I haven't shaven in a day or so, but for today I chose to use my father's razor/blade/AS/cologne set up. The razor was his, but everything else was bought in accordance to his tastes. Razor-1952 Gillette Black Tip Super Speed. Blade-Vintage Super Sword Edge Wilkinson Sword. Brush-cheap Badger hair brush. Soap-Cella. After Shave-English Leather. Cologne-English Leather. I thought I would honor my father with this shave. Been thinking a lot about him this holiday. I forgot to get some canned goo to complete the vintage set up, but I probably couldn't bring myself to use it anyway. But I had a great shave with dads razor, I'll call it a three pass DFS. Last shave in 2015, and what a wonderful shave it was! Mitchell's Wool Fat Parker Best Badger '59 Fatboy (6), Personna blue cold water/alum Captain's Choice CoNT The more I use this Fatboy, the more impressed I am. It's very well balanced and fits my hand perfectly. Set at "6", which seems to be my sweet spot, the shave is incredibly smooth, irritation free and close shave. A great way to close out the year. I simply love that soap! Sadly, my supplier in EU has been out of stock for a very long time. I dunno if it means it's been discontinued? Thus being, I don't use it very often. Trying to spare it.
