I'm trying . But I know I'll get there. My wife just ordered me some blades. There called Astro. She read some reviews and said my dorco blades suck and it's why I'm not getting good shaves.
1/4/2016 Menthol Monday!! Woo Hoo!! Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO Razor: Gillette Fat Boy F3 (9), H. Boker straight razor Blade: Astra SP (1) Brush: Turkish #6 Soap: Chiseled Face - Cryogen After: Home made ASB, Osage Rub Cologne: Midnight In Paris It is a New Year and Menthol Monday! This is definitely the way to start the day. The #6 brush whipped up the Cryogen into a nice lather. The FB and the Boker did their jobs well. The Osage Rub brought the Arctic Chill and the Midnight In Paris was a nice finish for this Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!

Razor: Gillette 195 Fat Boy (f1) 1960 (5) (3) Brush: Rubberset 400 #3 WD 24/50 Silvertip (Jedi Lightsaber) Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue Cream: Geo. F. Trumper's Coconut cream Blade: Feather (1) Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1973 glass cologne Stopper #3 Put some Trumper's Coconut into my favorite OS mug. My Jedi Lightsaber with its nice backbone whipped up some nice warm lather. The soft brush felt good on my face and I really like the way the handle feels in my hand. My FB is still my favorite razor and as usual, made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG on 3 and done. I had enough lather left over for another pass. The WH felt good, nice and cool. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Vintage Old Spice from 1973. Have a good one y'all!
