  1. I know this isn't a fair question with only one shave in, Weber vs Blackland Blackbird?

  2. No pressure whatsoever -- they stay wrapped inside my drawer awaiting emergency duty should the zombie apocalypse last longer than I'd planned.

  3. Based on 1 face shave and 1 scalp shave - Blackbird. Ask me again in 30 days.

  6. Glad you like your blackbird it's certainly a looker, I look forward to future posts. Am I right in thinking blackland was a kick starter?

  7. I am the same way Charlie. If pressed I might say the blade smooths out some after the first shave. Otherwise, I can't tell much difference at all.

Now the Feather Artist Club blades I can tell a big difference in smoothness after the first couple of shaves.

  14. You are doing well. Just let the razor to the work and avoid putting pressure on the razor. Do not worry so much about the results in the beginning but concentrate on the technique. You'll be surprised when everything just starts to click and the results are there. If you have any issues, questions or problems do not hesitate to ask. We will try to help in any way we can.

  15. Feather is one of my favorite blades. They are very sharp and cut well when used with no pressure. I have noticed that they are even smoother on the second shave and often use them for four or five shaves. I could live with this being my only blade.

  16. You are making progress. Keep doing this and the previous irritation will heal. With practice you will be surprised how much easier it gets. Stick to two passes and no pressure for a while and you may end up finding that a third pass isn't necessary. When I was starting, most of the irritation came from too many passes trying to chase BBS with poor technique. Have fun!

  17. Great advice. It's taken me over a month to stop chasing BBS. Now I have I get it a lot more with little to no irritation.
