    Super Smooth Sunday Shave

I'm going to put this soap through a week of testing and post the full review next Sunday. I will say that the scent is superb. If you like american barbershop by cold river soap works, you will love this scent. Another standout feature was the smooth post shave feel.

You gents have a great day.
  3. Sunday morning, since I don't have a One Blade I broke out the Valet. Loaded a new feather blade and had a nice 3 pass BBS shave. It's been over a year since I've used this razor and don't remember the shave being this good! Have a great day everyone!

  4. Hello folks, today's SOTD as follows;

    1920's Gillette Pocket Edition.
    Vintage Segal blade.
    Omega Travel Brush (boar).
    Proraso Red shaving soap.
    Captains Choice Sandalwood AS Splash.
    Bulgari Extreme cologne.

I had a great 2 pass BBS! The vintage Segal blade is a good one. I originally thought that these blades were only usable in a Segal razor, but it says on the box it fits all DE razors. And it did. It took a minute to align the blade, but it performed very well. Here's the photo-

  6. Great review!
  7. The Colonel meets Lavanille
What a great shave! The colonel made optimal lather, and might have bloomed the scent a bit as it takes a little longer to make magic than my synthetics. SMS laid down a slick base over which I face lathered my favorite scented soap. Der Futur calmly went about its appointed task, leaving neither weepers nor irritation in its wake. Only smooth skin awaited the Lavanille aftershave, which provided comfort and no burn whatsoever despite its alcohol content.
    Prep: Shea Moisture Shave Creme
    Soap: B&M Lavanille
    Brush: The Colonel
    Razor: der Futur
    Blade: Voskhod (2)
    AS: B&M Lavanille Tonique

  8. Sunday

Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Pig Trail
    Soap: Barbon Cream (Hungary)
Razor: Gillette Red Tip Super Speed
Blade: ASCO Red Super Stainless (4)
Brush: Whipped Dog High Mountain Badger/Bethlehem Olivewood-24mmx50mm
    Aftershave: Barbon

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard)

Barbon Cream today. 20 seconds to load the WD High Mountain Badger. Easy, thick, slick, lather. ASCO Red SS still in the Red Tip. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Barbon.

  9. An excellent soap IMHO. The scent isn't all that great but it's clean and fresh and doesn't linger for long. The lather is extremely slick and protective and doesn't dry out my sensitive skin.

GOOD MORNING GENTS. THREE PASS DFS TODAY A BIT RUSHED. I USED NOXZEMA AS A PRE SHAVE IT EXCELS AT THIS. FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T TRIED KISS MY FACE, I STRONGLY RECOMMENDED IT. IT LATHERS BEAUTIFULLY AND THE MOISTURIZING EFFECT DURING AND AFTER IS PROBABLY THE BEST I'VE HAD. VERY INEXPENSIVE AS WELL. FACE LATHERED WITH MY LOVELY @Jayaruh #12. HAVE A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY GUYS. :)

  11. Very nice photo, my friend. I wish I could find that 1881 from Cerruti because I like it a lot!
  12. Thank you Jeff. Have you tried Amazon?
  13. My advice is to use a lot less TOBS Rose than you use MDC unless you like to be overpowered by the Rose scent.

  14. Unfortunately not. What I'm worried about is, unless the seller is in Canada it would be prohibited to ship it here. :(
