Blackbird DE Razor

Just in from China in just 10 days. Three black badger and two synthetic knots. Now I can finish up four brushes.


Here are the four handles with dry fittings. Left to right, walnut with pure badger, osage orange with horse hair, walnut with black badger, osage orange with synthetic. This is just one of many combinations. I haven't decided to set them yet, but it is nice to have options.

That case is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. It's looks custom.

You can find those blades online or at Walgreens. Personna makes them. I bought 10 for under $4 at Walgreens. It's a fine shaver and is a nice change of pace. Expect a DFS from it.

This injector arrived today.. Nice set from what I can see, mint or close to it!

Are those display pieces, or do you use them all?

Everything in the cases for display. I shave daily with a 1941 Ranger tech with a new blade.

Two NOS Wusthofs both 7/8 one a Barbers King and the other a Trident in butter scotch three pin set up.

Nice, curious on how these synthetics compare to WD Synthetic or Ubersoft 2 and similar.

Stay tuned. I will have my first shave with it on the 15th. I will let you know.
