1. You might end up being member 25 ;)
  2. You got the shipping issue resolved, then?

  3. Yes, I had it shipped to @RaZorBurn123 he is expecting it to be delivered today. He will then ship it to me =)
  4. If all goes well I should have it in 1-2 weeks or something.

Edit: I just checked and the package is in San Jose now
  5. Good on you! :) I used my US based aunt for 'postal services' myself.
  6. Family is nice, I'm happy I have a friend in the US I can trust =D
  7. You are a part of my family. As my wife likes to say, your dad has a son who lives in Sweden.
  8. Yup. I'll have it today, and it will ship out to you tomorrow barring any unforeseen circumstances, i.e. Damage, not delivered.
  9. Hahaha thats funny, what do your kids say to that? =) im honered to be a part of your family
  10. Awesome, im very much looking forward to it

  11. While I was away on vacation, they offered refund and I got it. I was told last week that a new batch production will start soon. I'm assuming they will send me an invoice when new razors are ready.

About Ikon razors: Aside from all the hassle and frustration Mongoose has caused me, I still appreciate their honesty. Overall, Mongoose is still way better than Ikon. Judging from what I just heard about Ikon on other forum a few days ago, If it was Ikon, they would never have given exchange or refund for defective item. I feel better for doing business with Mongoose even after all this hassle.

  12. That's good news on the refund. When they send you the next invoice, I would ask that closely inspect the razor before shipping to prevent another issue.
  13. They keep telling me to put more stuff in the box.

  14. Btw, where do you get the best deals on blades for the 'goose?

  15. Ebay has some good deals in bulk. I use Amazon which has good prices as well.
  16. These are the lowest prices I see often, I also included highest I've seen. If you wait patiently, these sellers keep changing prices. I have seen Japanese sellers on ebay selling them for...
Feather Pro: $67-$76 for 200 blades.
Feather Super Pro: $102-$114 for 200 blades.

200 blades will last a LONG time.

As a dyed in the wool straight razor shaver, I have to say that this Mongoose is awesome. It is very difficult to do a XTG on the neck with a SR, but the Mongoose does it. Result: BBS everywhere. Eye (retinal tear) difficulties pushed me to go to the Mongoose. A silver lining during a difficult time.
