1. Well...I WANT one...does that count?

    Nice!
  2. FYI, the NEW Bakelit Set and the British New I both appear to go to the same link.

  3. Hello Red Rider, the New Belmont Deluxe isn't an RFB razor. It's a New Deluxe razor. Also you didn't list the #44 Gillette set. It is a RFB set too. But other than that, your information looks pretty correct.

  4. Corrected as they are the same razor. Thanks

  5. Here's my two RFB razors. The Rotbart Mond Extra is on the left, and the English Gillette #44 set on the right.

  12. I'd take any if found in the wild but if I only had one choice being a Tech fan it would be 1939 Tech Hybrid England.

  13. The center punch as a handle is a great idea and good color match to boot.

  16. I forgot about the NEW. Both the L.C. and S.C. are great smooth shavers IMO. The only beef I have with them is the L.C. handle is thin, light, and hard to find without a major crack, and the S.C. is also too light for my liking. However I rectified the lightness of the S.C. by adding #4 shot down the pipe and sealing it with slicone putty. I'm also working on fixing a very minor crack in my L.C. using a clear epoxy and by adding additional weight via a 1.5 inch solid 5/16 steel pin (I found at the hardware store). This will add about 14.7 gr to the L.C. for a total weight of 68.3. I had planned on selling the L.C. since I aquired via a multi-item deal, but I really like the way it shaves - so I'm keeping it. I find it slightly less aggressive than the S.C. Again don't think you would go wrong getting either of these great razors. Good luck.

  17. I have both a NEW Type Canadian LC and a U.S. built LC. I find the U.S. one to be more aggressive and currently have it up on the selling block since I'm a user collector meaning if I won't be using it I like to move it and make space for something else to try. I've been lucky out of 3 ball end handles I've only had one with a crack that I repaired using J-B weld. Not a good looking repair but usable. Will try different repair method the next time I come across a cracked handle.
Found the US SC to be a great match for me perfect aggression similar to Cda LC.
