On a good day my commute of 18 miles can take an hour and on bad days it's unbearable.

Thanks for the compliments on the brush. The handle was part of a group buy here on TSD last year. The prices on the handles aren't to expensive on eBay . Plus it's nice to finish off the brush yourself.

Last few trips where I have carried a DE in my carry on, I pull it out and put it in the bin with my liquids and shoes, out of the case. The TSA folks appreciated that they could quickly verify that there wasn't a blade in it.

my commute is 25 miles one-way, but I am pretty lucky because I have unusual working hours and can avoid the really bad traffic. Usually takes 45 minutes, sometimes an hour. Still - almost 2 hours of my life time lost every day

Thanks for the input. Obviously more research is needed. I tend to find day two of a blade a better shave.

It's probably been asked, but what do you think of the P160?

Man oh man I feel bad for you guys. My commute is 5 minutes, and that's if I'm held up by traffic.

I thought you might enjoy the Bolzano. A sharper blade may indeed call for adjustment on the razor aggression! Good day!

17 mile commute from the business district of Denver at 5pm pushes 80 minutes.

About to shave at exactly 24 since last shave. Don't really need to, but will anyway. SR may be killing my ability to do this daily..... :(

No shave today. I could shave now but it's 3:30pm. The iKon B1 Standard is extremely efficient, so much that I went 30 hours without the need of a shave. This is a good thing for some but definitely a bad thing someone who enjoys shaving daily.
I have my SOTD already setup for tomorrow. ;)

I like it very much in regards scent...Italians and their almonds...:love055:

I'm still working with it to develop optimum lather. I've been breaking in a couple of vintage brushes and I'm not used to them. I may just use my trusty Omega 48 on my next shave to establish a base lather for comparison. I do like the face-feel after the shave though. I've had a battle with dry skin lately. This soap seems to help.

I am finding the same thing /problem. Looking back, my subconscious self probably wanted to ensure a shave tomorrow, which is probably why I stopped at a single pass. Hmm...

Ok, so I did one precise, deliberate XTG pass with the straight, bit of FB touch up. Then I called it a day. Smooth enough after that, and a good shave was had by all.

Every Razorock I've tried does that to me a tiny bit.

Huh. I've really liked the RazoRock soaps I've used. Just haven't tried P160. YMMV, right?
