  10. Bob Quinn @ Elite Razor does great work in stone.
  11. Great shave this morning. My shaves are much better and more enjoyable when my wife and son are still fast asleep..... Strange hey?
I skipped yesterday to let my first real wound heal, so I was really looking forward to my shave. I took my time and really focused on technique. 3 passes with minor touch ups brought home the baby with absolutely no irritation. Usual post care, cold splash followed by dove balm and snake bite. This is the softest my skin has ever felt post shave so I'm guessing this was the best technique to date. Have a great weekend all.

    Saturday

I continue on with my Blackbird and 2 simple passes. I'm so impressed with what is happening with this razor. I've been near BBS every time I use it. My passes are both from the top of my face to my neck. No pressure and a shallow angle is making it easy.

    Prep: shower
    Lather: The Soap Exchange tallow
Brush: TGN finest badger fan shape in a Made Rite handle
    Razor: Blackland Blackbird
    Blade: Astra SP (3)
    Post: Old Spice

  15. Congrats, Tom, on a great shave! You've made a lot of progress. I hope the cut on your head heals up quickly.
  16. Blackbirds everywhere I look!!! Troy, I'm glad you're enjoying yours.
  17. Thanks Charlie! I'm trying to avoid being a squeeling fanboy, but this is an amazing tool!
  18. The Goose is the better built razor and the Cobra is the better shaving razor. I am glad I don't have to pick just one. :D

Day 6 with the Mongoose/Feather Super Pro blade combo. Although still providing a decent 2 pass DFS the blade has really fallen off the last two shaves.
