I am enjoying my American Safety Razor Company Injectors at the moment..I just had another perfect Dolphin Smooth Finish with this PAL Feather Pro Blade Combo..My French Mansavon tallow soap is amazing...Mega glide & excellent cushion & cheap as chips over here in the UK..I used the PAL Adjustable on the middle setting throughout my shave..The PAL Adjustable is just as efficient with the Feather Pro on the middle setting as the 3 quarter setting with a Chick blade for me..Far smoother for me & seriously comfortable..

I have changed my mind about the Chick blade being my Go blade in this Injector..It doesn't seem to matter what razor I am using the Pro blade in because it just feels like a Pro blade & offers that Feather Pro smooth finish... Not suggesting its any better but its just different & I happen to like it..These blades are not for the Faint hearted tho in this Big Guns injector..No irritation , weepers or cuts...I have always said that if I was forced to make the decision to keep only one Injector...This would be the One..

In my humble opinion this was the Best Injector ever made..Its an Awesome shaver..Very delicate & subtle tho & needs handled as tenderly as a Woman..:rah:

Looks like you had it set to warp speed the high setting?

Naw..As we would Say in Scotland.. Its good practice to keep the PAL Adjustable on the H Highest Setting because there is No Tension on the Spring & therefore it should keep the spring Healthy..

All Personal of course...I always preferred it on the 3 quarter setting with a Chick blade...The H High setting was always too much for me...With the Pro Blade I am getting Awesome shaves on the Middle Setting...

Despite the call of some alluring injectors I continued with my run of non-injector SEs. One of my favorites has been the French Louis hoe. It had been way too long. Cutting to the chase, the result was baby smooth skin. But something was off. It felt like a rough shave and the alum block was screaming at me. Maybe it was the new blade, maybe it was that it is a different razor on 2+ days of growth, maybe the lather wasn't up to snuff, maybe I was going with too much angle too often. Whatever it was, it was not fun - despite the fantastic reduction and result. C'est la vie!
