Yes and no. There was a very short period of time when they put international orders on hold but are now offering it again. A bit more expensive but at least they found a solution

 

Ok, so i came in time with international order. Hope get the answer soon...

 

What's the difference? =)

 

I actually don't know but I would assume it has something to do with improving the package tracking. Maybe a different carrier.

 

First class has only customs number, priority class they offer now is fully trackable so receivers cant cheat saying that they not received package as it is received and can the have refund from paypal and razor. That was rhe main reason to change shipping policy...

 

Frds, just got an answer from mongoose: "You will receive notification and tracking from PayPal when it ships. We usually wait to group overseas shipments as they are more time consuming with the additional paperwork."

 

That's good news. I know the waiting is the hardest part.

 

I got it stuck in my head now...

With a new Feather Pro blade loaded, a 2 pass shave, ATG & XTG, followed my minor touch ups yielded a fantastic smooth near BBS shave. While I prefer the Feather Super Pro in the SS Mongoose, I think I might prefer the Feather Pro in the AlumiGoose.

Second shave with the Feather Super in the Mongoose. I worked and worked the Fitjar cream gradually adding more and more water until a light but slick consistency, and used the longer strokes advised by Clint. Fabulous shave on three days worth of growth. Might not have worked as well with a lesser blade.

Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Jumping Juniper shampoo cake from Lush
Soap/cream- Razorock XXX shave soap
Brush- Plisson synthetic
Razor- AlumiGoose
Blade- Feather Artist club Professional(2)
Post- Cold water rinse, alum block, Humphrey Witch hazel, Pinaud Clubman Vanilla classic and Nivea Original aftershave balm and some extra moisturizing with Monu aftershave age combat

Second shave with the AlumiGoose. Im always honest so im telling you that this shave was NOT as good as the first one =P

Why? Im not sure. Maybe its because i used a relatively new soap so i haven't figured it out completely.

I got a nice close shave but now a few minutes after The shave I feel some razor burn. That's why I applied some extra balm after the shave.

I do love the way the razor feels in the hand, I noticed the audio feedback. But it's not "extra" loud. It just has a nice audio feedback.

 

I know the drill, Omar. [And we're not best at practicing the ceteris paribus principle when we have fresh stuff in the den, are we? ]

 

I had to google what ceteris paribus before i responded to this post, but no we are not hahaha. You have a soap and you really want to use that exact scent and soap hahhaa. But my next shaves will be with s soap like MWF or MdC or maybe the Fitjar Isrose that I used in my first shave =)

I can already see this razor becoming my daily driver and knocking down everyone in its path. I haven't mastered it yet but with my limited uses Im already getting closer shaves than usual
