    Sunday's Planned SOTD

    Razor: King Cobra\Triad Handle
    Blade: Kai Titan Mild (D1)

    Brush: Korn D7-XLT Shavemac 28mm 2band
    Bowl: Corbell Pedestal Bowl 4"
    Pre Shave Scrub: MRGLO
    Pre Shave Oil: AOS unscented
    Shave Cream: Penhaligon`s Sartorial
    Post: Monster Alum Block
    Aftershave: Penhaligon`s Sartorial
Going with a few new items for tomorrow's shave and cant believe little old me with little resistance to new shaving toys actually sat on these items for some time. The Sartorial shave cream and aftershave were Christmas gifts from my brother in law and the Triad handle came in last week as did the Emerald Green/Pearlescent White D7-XLT Shavemac 2-band. Both of these items look better up close and personal than what the picture shows. Both of these artisans are masters in their trade and I am glad I have a couple of items in my den from both of them. Really looking forward to my Sunday morning shave.

    Hello fellow Shave Denizens, here's today's SOTD;

Early 1950's ultra light Aluminum English Tech-(total weight 30g).
    Shark Super Chrome blade.
    Omega Travel Brush (Boar).
    Nivea post shave balm(sensitive,unscented).
    Bulgari Extreme cologne.
    Cella shaving soap.

This English Tech has never failed to give me a BBS shave. These old all Aluminum English Tech razors are fantastic. If you ever have the chance to get one, you should. You will be surprised and happy too. Here's the photo-

GOOD MORNING GUYS. A VERY SMOOTH BBS IN THREE PASSES TODAY NO TOUCHUPS NEEDED. THIS RAZOR IS ALWAYS VERY EFFICIENT FOR ME. IT PROVIDES A LOT OF AUDIBLE FEEDBACK BUT DESPITE SHAVING EXTREMELY CLOSE IS ALWAYS COMFORTABLE. MY @Jayaruh #12 IS ALWAYS A JOY TO FACE LATHER WITH. ROUTE 66 LUMBERJACK IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE SOAP OF THE BUNCH AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO TRYING OTHERS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. HAVE A GREAT SHAVE AND A GREAT DAY FOLKS. :)

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE !!! SOTD 01/24/16

    Rolls Viscount
    VDH Boar
    VDH Deluxe
    Cold Water Rinse
    Witch Hazel
    Stephan Bay Rum A/S

So it's my second full shave with the Rolls I got darn close to BBS results with no irritation and no nicks, had to do a little touch up here and there but not too bad.
Once you get used to the angle it's really an effortless shave and very smooth. So once again ILTS is a happy camper!!!:happy088:

HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY EVERYONE!!!:) DSCF0063.JPG

Sunday: Day 13 of my second round of blade testing
    Prep:
Hot Shower, Nivea Moisturizing Face Wash
    Brush: Simpsons 56 Best Badger
Lather: Ginger's Garden Lavender Herbal soap with clay and mango butter
    Razor: RazoRock Bamboozled RAKE OC
    Blade: Personna Red Israeli (1)
    Passes: WTG, XTG, XTG (1, 2, 3)
Post: Cold water rinse, Bloc Osma alum, Dickinson's Witch Hazel, Ginger's Garden Lavender Herbal aftershave splash
Cologne: Le 3e Homme de Caron by Caron

I'm trying to keep an open mind, free of expectations, throughout these blade trials. That said, based on its reputation, the Personna Red Israeli was the one I was most anticipating trying out. As always, the Simpsons + the GG soap produced great, stable lather for the shave. The blade itself might be half a tick sharper than the Q-Ball, which made it feel just that tiniest bit less smooth; if memory serves, its sharpness compares to the Astra SP, but it is more comfortable on my skin than the Astra, which is not a blade I'm fond of. Nonetheless, it produced an effortless, comfortable 3-pass shave that left me very nearly BBS results.
