Less than 24-hour beard growth since the shave from yesterday lent itself to needing just one pass with a little touch-up. The Proraso White continues to perform well. Have a terrific Monday!

Monday's Razorock Classic Shaving Soap Jayaruh #40 Black Badger AutoStrop VC4 Feather SE CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayers Rose Petal WH Aqua Velva Ice Blue The Razorock Classic Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #40 Black Badger brush. Two passes with my Valet AutoStrop razor and a Feather SS blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Aqua Velva Ice Blue after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... This was my second shave with this AutoStrop razor. I ended up with a great shave, and I like that I am able to shave with it, but I get as good or better shave with my Schicks with less effort. I love trying out these old pieces of industrial art.
Well, it's beautiful! I hope someday to have a white marble handled brush. White marble is quarried about an hour from where I live. It's beautiful stuff. In the meantime I'll just admire brushes like yours and others I see!

Don't expect it be on the same level as Cryogen or Glacial but I didn't buy it to compete with these. Kelly makes some awesome soaps and wanted to add another chiller that I knew would be excellent in the pre-shave & post-shave not to mention a breeze to lather up.
Decided to shower & shave tonight for Menthol Monday so went with the works............. After showering started w/hot towel scented w/spiced essential oil Proraso face lathered w/Duke 2 Best Schick G1 Injector w/fresh Schick blade Witch hazel followed w/Nivea Cooling ASB finishing w/Floid Vigoroso 2-passes w/touch-up for a BBS shave! Really enjoyed the hot towel prep.
*SuperMax Kwik3 bonus pack (80 cents at Big Lots) *Cremo Cooling 2 pass BBS This... ...is a 3 blade clone of the basic Sensor design, from the unique pivot down to the ribs that looks exactly like the Sensor handle when you remove the metal shell (yeah, I did). But there's a big difference: it's shaves wonderfully. I have early Sensor cartridges and they do not shave as well as this thing does. Having three very well spaced blades that can't clog is a plus. a/s: Lucky Tiger lotion and off to bed.
SOTD 1/24/16 Prep: Hot Shower/ Dove Men's Face Scrub Pre-Shave: PAA Ice Pre-Shave Soap Shave Soap: Alindberg's Western Cowboy Brush: Semogue OC Boar Razor/ Blade: Merkur 37c Slant/ Personna Lab Blue Astringent: Witch Hazel Post-Shave: Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm Aftershave: Fine American Blend (not pictured) Another great shave today. I love the 37c--I can get so close with just 2 passes, but it gives me way less irritation than the R41 hybrid head. Great razor that is efficient and smooth. Also love this soap sent to me from another fellow soapmaker. It is easy to load and lather and smells great. Post-shave is also fantastic. Really enjoyable shave today and I am happy with the results. My box should arrive tomorrow. It is full of the rest of my shaving soaps and my aftershave balms, so hopefully nothing broke in this one. Then I can start using my regular soaps. Have a great week everyone! Also, side-note @crackstar since I shave at night, should I do Menthol Monday on Sunday night or Monday night?
