Two passes with my Valet AutoStrop razor and a Feather Stainless SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. With 2 and half days of growth I was undecided as to today's shave. But when I saw my PAL Adjustable I just reached for it. It was the first shave with this razor (the others being with a pass-around.) Wow. Just wow. The whiskers didn't stand a chance. She just wiped them clean away without even a muss. The shave left me smiling for sure with that coveted dolphin smooth BBS feeling all around. I've been on the road and this was a great welcome home. I do believe this marks the first time I've seen a chainsaw included with a SOTD photo. I don't suppose though that bar oil would make a good pre-shave.
Tabac Tuesday Prep: Musgo Real Oakmoss Razor: Gillette Thin (1st shave) Brush: RazoRock plissoft Soap: Tabac Balm: MLS ITALIAN STALLION Scent: Reef Point Submariner 3 pass shave today. First shave wit these blades and not impressed so far. The other Gillette blades I have tried have been smoother than these. Not terrible, but not great either. Ended up with a few nicks and some irritation but still a close shave. The MLS moisturized afterwards and the scent of Submariner is almost like a Cologne which I love about this aftershave. Hope everyone did better than I did on today's shave.
8 drops of M bomb! That's a face freezer. I think it is cook to be able to mentholate any lather, the menthol could make a particular soap much more enjoyable.
