A great shave this morning. Near bbs.. -hot shower -proraso green soap -tv special Gillette razor -Astra sp (3) - wtg, xtg, atg, clean up -witch hazel , traders joes balm This was my first time using this razor.. And it so far has given me the best shave... I have a red tip , 66 slim, weishi, merkur long handle.. The blade I used already had 3 shaves on it and it felt like a new blade in this razor.. Although I got irritation and weepers, that was due to me being greedy and wanting bbs. Great experience !!
It's FRIDAY SOTD Razor-Lady Eversharp (K1) Blade-Schick "Chick" (4) Brush-WD Silvertip Soap-Maggard Mango Sage Tea AS-Pinaud Clubman Continued success with an injector razor...albeit a mild one. Today's shave was a nice DFS. I find the injector a paradox. It seems easier to use than a DE (angle...etc), but seems more difficult to get it to shave close. I'm feeling that the result is good, but the process is not as enjoyable as a DE. Still a work in progress.
SOTD Mitchell's Wool Fat AoS Pure Badger Leresche #51 Nacet Stainless (4) Alum Pitrulon Classic AS Have a great Friday! (Thanks for visiting @PLANofMAN )
I have the same badger brush. But mine is sooo floppy. Do you have the same problem.. It fans out when I'm using it. I like to synthetic brush that came with my trader joes kit .. Lot more back bone to it .
